(Apr. 16 1:54 PM) - Cineplex Entertainment, Front Row Center Events, and Omniverse Vision present Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Love Never Dies', the long awaited continuation to 'The Phantom of the Opera', in a fully-staged production pre-recorded at The Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. 'Love Never Dies' made its Canadian cinematic debut on April 11. An encore presentation will be screened on Saturday April 21 at select movie theaters and tickets are now available! The Shaw Festival Opens With RAGTIME

(Apr. 10 9:23 PM) - The Shaw Festival embarks on the first season of its next 50 years by proudly initiating a provocative conversation through the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime. Based on E.L. Doctorow’s novel of the same name, Ragtime is directed by Artistic Director Jackie Maxwell and brought to life by The Shaw’s renowned acting Ensemble. This powerful and complex story of a young America on the cusp of defining itself and the hopes and dreams of its citizens continues to gain resonance today. Surpassing all expectations, early tickets sales to the Shaw Festival’s production of Ragtime are nearly 20% above projected totals, while early April and May ticket purchases for special matinees are already 80% sold out. Yesterday’s preview performance of Ragtime received a standing ovation.

(Mar. 25 5:00 AM) - Infinithéâtre will present the Québec English language premiere of the award-winning play, The Leisure Society (La Societé de loisirs), by François Archambault, translated by Bobby Theodore, through March 25 at Bain St-Michel. Along with director Ellen David, the cast and design team features Montréal’s finest theatre artists from both the English and French sectors including actors Daniel Brochu (presently in Scientific Americans at the Segal Centre), Catherine De Sève (previously seen in Dangerous Liaisons at the Segal Centre and long-time member of L’auberge du chien noir on Radio-Canada), Sheena Gazé-Deslandes (The Daily Miracle, Infinithéâtre) and Howard Rosenstein (hot off his praised portrayal of lawyer Hugh Rose in Ars Poetica, Infinithéâtre).

HMC is a non-profit, volunteer based organization dedicated to bringing quality musical entertainment to Hudson and the surrounding Montreal area. This club is one of the few community theatre groups in the entire Montreal area that is devoted 100% to English language Broadway musical theatre.
