Cirque du Soleil returns to Calgary with its latest big top production Amaluna which premieres on April 11, 2013 for a limited engagement under the blue-and-yellow Big Top at Stampede Park (Lot #6). Directed by Diane Paulus, a renowned theatre director from New York, Amaluna had its world-premiere in Montreal in April 2012 and is now touring North America.

2013 will mark the 25th anniversary of the first visit of Cirque du Soleil in Calgary. Following the Calgary engagement, Amaluna will raise its trademark Blue and Yellow Big Top in Edmonton. This will be the first time that a Cirque du Soleil big top production visits Edmonton.
