Pacific Mambo Orchestra (PMO) is a 20 piece big band with an even bigger sound that Salsa Trips Magazine named one of the best Latin big bands in the world. Since this comparatively unknown act surpassed industry superstars Marc Anthony and Carlos Vives to win the 2014 Best Latin Tropical Album Grammy, the band has only grown more dynamic, with a remarkable stage presence that enlivens audiences and instantly converts listeners to fans. Their 2020 album The Ill Side draws from the diverse repertoires of the bands phenomenal roster of musicians, exploring salsa, bolero, and timba with improvisational flare. These masters of showmanship have roused jazz festival crowds from Monterey to Montreux.
