BroadwayWorld Austin says Jarrott Productions has produced another hit, an audio-documentary (not a podcast) that is laugh out loud funny! London's LouReviews says Pet Dick has the ambience is 1950s radio schlock and Bob Newhart hysterics!
In 1969, in rural Lincoln, Illinois, private investigator Jerry Labinowicz documented on micro-cassette tapes his investigations into a series of unexplained pet deaths over the course of 20 years.
These 50-year-old cassette tapes were recently uncovered by Colin Westler, and Colins audio-documentary examines these tapes as Jerry unravels a mystery in real time.
Colin's audio-documentary, Pet Dick, stars Jason Graf as Jerry, Will Douglas as Colin, and Amanda Cooley Davis as Colin's mom, Julia.
Also featured are the voices of some of Austins favorite actors: Sam Domino; Natalie Garcia; Raul Garza; Kelsey Mazak; Mike Ooi; Amber Quick; Roderick Sanford; Erin Scialabba; Tucker Shepherd; and Valoneecia Tolbert.
Pet Dick was written by Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, and directed by David R. Jarrott; sound design, recording and mixing by Craig Brock; Jerry's Theme performed by Dave Cooper and the All Pet Dick Orchestra.
