The year 2020 is one that will go down in history as one of the strangest and most challenging of our lifetimes. In Marisol playwright Jose Rivera introduces us to a world, not unlike ours, that has become unrecognizable- the Moon has gone missing, coffee is extinct, cows are producing salty milk, and going over your credit card limit can land you in a secret Government prison in Brooklyn. Marisol Perezs faith in God, humanity, and life itself are put through the ultimate test. Rivera explores a strange and mystifying world in a play whose language is beautifully poetic and whose message is achingly transcendent, universal, and poignantly relevant.
