Join us at 54 Below for a powerful, poetic, jazz-gospel-salsa-ragtime-blues evening featuring the songs of Langston in Harlem, an unforgettable celebration of the iconic poet Langston Hughes set to the music of Walter Marks, evoking the emergence of black culture during the Harlem Renaissance. This concert version of the Audelco winning musical features songs with Langston's immortal poems set to music — "The Weary Blues," "Jukebox Love Song," "Junior Addict," "A Dream Deferred," and many more! Featuring an all-star cast to be announced, this concert is produced by the Classical Theater of Harlem and directed by Jerry Dixon.
