On September 12, 2001, Waverly prepares for a blind date at her Minneapolis apartment, absently-mindedly watching television in the background. When her date arrives, the two are joined by friends and neighbors to huddle around the T.V. Soon, Waverly reveals that she is waiting to hear if her twin sister, a New York resident, is safe.
