Tragedy and comedy. Fire and ice. From the speed of tragic lovers in Verona, to the sweeping epic that spans over twenty years, the Pearl presents it's first ever mini Shakespeare festival, producing two classic plays on alternating nights.
Romeo and Juliet tells the classic tale of star-crossed lovers in a modern setting at the Pearl.
The Winter's Tale is a magical fairy tale that combines comedy, tragedy, romance, and music in a way that only Shakespeare can.
Following the success of last year's MACBETH, Pearl Shakespeare edits the plays to two hours, and presents Shakespeare in a way that is accessible and entertaining for modern audiences.
