The Find Your Voice Foundation and BARCLAY Performing Arts present TRICH. This is a solo show about living with trichotillomania. You might not know what that is, but don’t worry, I'll tell you when you get here. You’ll meet a teenage girl with an undeniable secret that no one seems to notice, so she hides in her basement cubicle wondering if anyone will come downstairs. Whoa, did that get too dark too fast? Let’s try this again: TRICH is a super fun show about mental health, isolation, and forging a path toward recovery through humor, vulnerability, and far too many 90s references. TRICH was the top-selling show at the 2021 United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC, winning both the Best Actress and Audience Choice Awards, and last year it was named one of the top fifteen New Jersey theatre productions of 2023 by NJArts following its sold-out run at Luna Stage. Content Warning: TRICH includes profanity and sensitive material surrounding mental health, addiction, anxiety, depression, and BFRBs. Best suitable for ages 12+.
