The 2025 Edward T. Cone Composition Institute, hosted by the New Jersey Symphony, offers emerging composers the chance to enhance their careers through a tuition-free program running from July 14 to July 19. Under the direction of composer Steven Mackey and guest conductor Christopher Rountree, selected participants will have their works performed by the Symphony and engage in career development sessions with industry leaders. This institute celebrates the legacy of Edward T. Cone and aims to promote contemporary orchestral music.
