This outrageous and hilarious play from the 1700s gives Molire a run for his money. David Ives superb translation and adaptation of Pirons original will have you grinning with delight over the nimble wordplay and clever wit that dominates every moment of this wonderful farce. A satirical glimpse into the world of the metromaniacs meaning those who are maniacally devoted to the meter of rhyme and all things poetical this frothy confection is a delicious treat for all those who love the art of language and for anyone who just loves to laugh!
