Performance dates: January 9th-23rd at the Secret Theatre in Long Island City, NY (Mandatory performance attendance)
Rehearsal dates: November 27th and on (mostly Sunday and Mondays at 7:00pm-8:30pm). (No Rehearsals December 24-28th) (Possible rehearsal add on rehearsals).
The story centers around Hye-Ree who has been kidnapped and forced into prostitution during World War II. In the prison camp, she meets two lieutenants, one who has a very angel like respect for women (Saito) and one who has more of a devilish streak (Ito). Saito has secretly befriended Hye-Ree because he has been brought up to respect women, while Ito has the complete opposite upbringing.
Seeking the following characters: (ALL NON-UNION)
Lt. Saito (20's-mid 30's) Lieutenant under Lt. Ito, who is part of the comfort woman tragedy during WWII. He is a respectful gentleman who pretends to engage in obscene behaviors with the comfort women, but has been brought up to respect them.
Lt. Ito (20's-mid 30's) Basically the Nazi gestapo character of the show, who is both physically abusive and sexually abusive towards Hye-Ree. He is the complete opposite of Lt. Saito, and they butt heads.

Please submit one minute dramatic monologue that shows stage presence. Other types of monologues will be accepted but dramatic is preferred, since the show is a dramatic piece.
