Written by Shann Smith Directed by Clare Solly Criminals on the prowl, power outages, and the constant pleas of help surround our hero, Blackout A.K.A. Cassie. The grind never seems to end and now in this dark hour she’s the one who needs help. One year ago, her mentor, the legendary Kinetic, committed suicide plagued by the shadows of his mind. Those same shades now threaten to overwhelm Cassie whose electric abilities surge uncontrolled growing worse with each passing hour. The best hope for Blackout lies with her best friend, the intrepid reporter Annie and her estranged brother and widower of Kinetic, Anthony. All three must confront their grief, trauma, and resentment in order to save the city… and themselves. Starring: Regina Russell, Rob Mobley, Erin Soler and Tyler Riley *Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks, when not eating or drinking.
