The Ashland New Plays Festival presents its annual Fall Festival featuring staged readings of works by Shanna Allman, Minita Gandhi, Keiko Green, and Novid Parsi. These four winning plays, selected from 350 submissions, explore themes of love, freedom, grief, and the ecological crisis, showcasing both humor and compassion. Highlights include Allman's Sync, a reflection on AI companionship, Gandhi's Nerve about navigating loss, Green's You are Cordially Invited to the End of the World, a celebration of life amidst despair, and Parsi's The Life You Gave Me, a darkly comedic family tale. The festival runs from October 16 to October 20 at Southern Oregon University's Main Stage Theater.
