Stan Douglas: Ghostlight presents the first major U.S. survey of the acclaimed artist in over two decades, featuring a comprehensive examination of his work from the 1990s through the present. Opening at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, this exhibition includes the North American premiere of his immersive five-channel video installation that critically revisits D.W. Griffith's 1915 film The Birth of a Nation. Alongside this centerpiece, nearly 40 additional works explore themes of memory, colonialism, and social upheaval through film, photography, and interdisciplinary projects. The exhibition runs from June 21 to November 30, 2025.
