It is Christmas time in the early 1900's in New York City. You are treated to a live musical, accompanied by live music. Willy, the newspaper boy will give you a guided tour of how the city works and grinds and takes, even during Christmas. You will meet a colorful "man of the streets" named Soapy, who looks at getting locked up during this time of year as a vacation. He tries many times to get his reservation, but has been blessed with good luck. Jim & Della Dillingham are barely scrimping by. They struggle with unemployment and the pressure to find each other the perfect gift. We are asked, "What would you give up to get that special gift for someone you love so much?" Sometimes it isn't what the gift costs, but that it comes from your heart.
