Expansive 2024 showcases transgender and nonbinary classical artists in a collaborative performance by Opera Parallèle and The Transgender District. This year's event features talented performers like Lucas Bouk (baritone), Wilford Kelly (bass-baritone), and Queen Angelina (violinist), along with a debut of a newly commissioned song by Joy Redmond. Spanning various genres, the program includes classical art songs, opera arias, musical theater favorites, and pop classics, all celebrating the richness of trans and nonbinary talent. The performances will take place on August 8 and 9 at A.C.T.’s Strand Theater in San Francisco.
