Jason Robert Brown's Drama Desk winner, The Last Five Years, has been translated into a handful of languages and was named one of TIME Magazine's ten best shows of 2001. A testament to the show's longevity, and spurred by the show's regional popularity, The Last Five Years enjoyed an Off-Broadway revival at Second Stage in 2013. A film adaptation was released in 2014, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan An emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years, the show's unconventional structure consists of Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.

Felisha Trundle is so excited to be making her debut at Roxys as Cathy in TTHE LAST FIVE YEARS! This has been a dream role of hers for a while now, and she is so excited to be able to bring it to life. She earned her MM at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee ('19). Her roles include Caroline from TITANIC, Logainne from THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Frieda from CARRIE THE MUSICAL, Lauretta from GIANNI SCHICCHI, Sister Genevieve from SOUR ANGELICA, and Sister Constance from DIALOGUES OF THE CARMELITES.
Paul Knapp

Paul Knapp is thrilled to return to a Wichita stage after 11 years and debut at Roxy's! Notable credits: THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Chip), CABARET (Emcee), MAN OF LA MANCHA (Anselmo/Barber), and BLITHE SPIRIT (Charles). Seven years ago, as a Theatre Performance major at Oklahoma State, Paul met Felisha during a show. They became fast friends, fell in love, and have been married for five years. They hadn't shared the stage again until now, making it even more special to tell this beautiful, heartbreaking love story together.

Rick Bumgardner began his 7th season here at Roxy's Downtown with the opening show of the season LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. A Zelda Fichandler Award nominee in the Midwest Region, Rick is a proud member of SDC (The Society of Directors and Choreographers). Rick last directed GUYS AND DOLLS for Cowley Summer Theatre, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN and THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG last season for Roxy's Downtown. Next up for Rick is A CABARET CHRISTMAS, THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE, followed by JEKYLL AND HYDE, CABARET, AND LEGALLY BLONDE.
Megan Upton-Tyner
Director
Megan is ecstatic to be making her Roxy’s debut alongside her brilliant and dear friend, Chris Shaw. Megan has been teaching theatre and directing locally for over two decades. Starting this fall, she will be teaching at Andover High School, having been at Valley Center High School for the last 9 years. She is the Advocacy Coordinator for Kansas Thespians and was the recipient of the Kansas Thespians Theatre Teacher of the Year for Region 1. She firmly believes that theatre is an essential part of a well rounded education.
Christopher Shaw
Music Director
Christopher is thrilled to be debuting at Roxy’s with his best friend Megan, and the talented cast, Paul and Felisha. Chris is a very active collaborative and solo artist as a conductor, pianist and organist. During the week, he is at Goddard High School, teaching five choirs, music theory, music theater, and music directing the spring musical. He is also the organist at Plymouth Congregational Church, where he had the opportunity to accompany Arthur Marks and is excited to bring in Dr. Tim Seelig in September.

Scenic Design
J Branson (Scenic Designer) is proud to be a part of the legacy-building team at Roxy’s Downtown! A graduate
of Wichita State University, J has been a Chicago-based designer for more than 30 years, working coast to coast and in Canada. National tour credits include THE MUSIC MAN; BEAUTY AND THE BEAST; BRIGADOON; and CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. Regional premieres include RIDE THE CYCLONE; THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME; A CHRISTMAS STORY; HAIRSPRAY; MARY POPPINS; and THE LITTLE MERMAID. Other regional work includes SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE; ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE; LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!; NUNSENSE; SUNSET BOULEVARD; HOCUS POCUS; and CHESS. Chadwick Armstrong
Costume Design
Chadwick Armstrong (Costume Designer) is a Costume Society of America member and Kansas State Alumni. Some credits include: Semi Finalist of Lifetime’s Season 13 Project Runway, DISNEY’S LION KING National tour, DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST National tour, SISTER ACT National tour, DIRTY DANCING National tour, Celtic Woman World tour, P!NK World tour and Vegas Legends Show. He also is a freelance costume designer in the Wichita area for many high school productions. Chadwick is thrilled to return to Roxy’s Downtown for another production this season, even more thrilled to work with his wonderful friend Rick!
Tyler Lessin
Lighting Designer
Tyler Lessin (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to return to Roxy’s Downtown after designing BABY JANE, THE MUSICAL and ALTAR BOYZ. Tyler is passionate about arts education and spends the academic year as technical director for Andover High School. Favorite credits include: LA TRAVIATA (Lawrence Opera Theatre), THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Andover High School), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW and SWEENEY TODD (Crown Uptown). Tyler would like to thank Rick and Megan for this opportunity, and his husband Kyle for his love and support.
Louise Brinegar
Properties Mistress
Louise Brinegar (Props Designer) is excited to be joining the team at Roxy’s for the first time. A Wichita native, she’s been doing properties design for more than 15 years and has won multiple Mary Jane Teall awards. In addition to theatre jobs, she works for an estate sale company and she and her husband run online auctions. It’s all about the stuff!
Porter Jones
Production Stage Manager
Porter Jones (Production Stage Manager / Sound Designer) is delighted to be running THE LAST FIVE YEARS! He has been performing various jobs at Roxy’s since February 2020 and has been the Production Manager since March of 2021. He has had the great fortune of being Rick’s assistant director for 3 shows, recently graduated from WSU with a BA in Theatre and plans to pursue his master’s degree in Stage Management at UMKC. He wants to thank Rick and Roxy’s for constantly giving him opportunities to grow as an artist, the cast/crew for their hard work, his family in OKC for their support, his friends here in Wichita for their support, his partner Alazé for their endless love and YOU, the audience, for being patrons of the arts and allowing theatre to survive in Wichita.
