Theatre de la Bordee presents 4 GIRLS DR. MARCH, now playing through 6 January 2013.

Based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Louisa May Alcott (1869), this work takes place mainly Concord, Massachissetts, while the father of the "four girls" took part in the American Civil War and the mother, Marmee, is alone to raise her children.

The story centers on four sisters March, but especially on Jo, who aspires to a great career as a writer. We follow his adventures in New York, while log for a newspaper or publisher agrees to publish his stories. An unfortunate event then returns to the fold, where it all began, where it finds its roots and wings.

A family history led by touching the strength and determination of real women and inspiring .

The show will feature well-established actors, but actors succession.

The adaptation is performed by French actress and playwright Joëlle Bond. designers of sets and costumes designers are also well established in the region, Marie-Renee Bourget Harvey and Sébastien Dionne.

It is a spectacular show that will make you laugh and cry as only musical theater can. Do not miss this unique history presented it first in Quebec.
